- Requirements:
- A Power of Attorney duly legalized up to the Syrian Consulate;
- A copy of the home or foreign application/registration of the mark; and
- Twenty prints of the mark.
- It is possible to proceed and file a trademark application without submitting the corresponding home registration. However, the Registrar has discretion to request the applicant after filing the application to submit the said certificate in case he believes the trademark is indistinctive or for any other reason.
- It is possible to file the application without the POA, however, there will be an official fee for late filing of the POA for every month delay in addition to our charges.
- The applicant is required to declare on the application form the date of actual use of the mark in Syria or the intention of use of the mark in the country within 3 years from filing date.

- Opposition Period: 90 days from the publication date
- End of opposition period up to issuance of registration certificate: 2 months
